Wreath Making, Hot Toddies and Desserts at Estuary

With the holidays fast approaching, Estuary and Conrad Washington DC are partnering with the talented team from She Loves Me for a seasonal wreath making class, complete with warming teas, toddies and afternoon treats. Flower and greenery experts from one of DC’s most creative boutique flower shops will deck the halls of Estuary’s light-filled Blue Willow Room for a workshop where guests learn how to make their own holiday wreaths, leaving with their completed personal creations. Techniques covered include color pairings, how to manipulate flowers into specific shapes, using floral wire and tape, and tips on how to locally source greenery and flowers. To keep the afternoon festive, an array of hot teas and toddies will be available, alongside holiday-inspired desserts including:

• Gingerbread Opera Cake
• Eggnog Cream Puff
• Speculoos Jam Cookies
• Chocolate Peppermint Tart
• Chestnut Bread Pudding

The event will be hosted on Saturday, November 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tickets, which can be purchased here, are $85 per person and include all workshop materials, completed wreath and food and beverage, including tax and gratuity.
