CityCenterDC Celebrates City In Bloom

March 21, 2016

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – For the third consecutive year, CityCenterDC is showing its support for the National Cherry Blossom Festival by participating in City in Bloom. From March 20 through April 17, hundreds of pink lanterns will light up Palmer Alley, creating a whimsical, bright atmosphere for all to enjoy. Also, from March 23 – April 3, the CityCenterDC sky bridges will be illuminated pink as well.

The lanterns have only been up for a few days and are already creating quite a buzz across social media platforms. CityCenterDC encourages you to share your photos of the lanterns using hashtag #CityCenterDC or tagging @CityCenterDC on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

After taking in the sites, stop by Milk Bar, RareSweets, Centrolina or Fig & Olive to check out their Cherry Blossom Specials!
