CityCenterDC Celebrates Summer by Adorning Palmer Alley with Hundreds of Colorful Beach Balls

Washington, DC – CityCenterDC has once again brought color back to its pedestrian walkway, Palmer Alley. This summer enjoy hundreds of colorful beach balls suspended above Palmer Alley creating a bright, whimsical atmosphere for all to enjoy. The Beach Ball installation is continuing CityCenterDC’s efforts to create a truly unique and dynamic destination for residents and visitors to enjoy. As an outdoor shopping destination, CityCenterDC strives to bring guests a pleasant and fun experience throughout the year, encouraging people to interact with the space and shop at the center. The Beach Ball installation is the third, large-scale overhead décor installation in Palmer Alley and CityCenterDC is working on other vibrant installations for the future.
