Celebrate 250 years of AMERICA at CONRAD DC
A Sparkling Tribute to American Culinary Traditions.
From Friday, June 26 through Sunday, July 5, Conrad Washington, DC will host an exclusive 10-day celebration of luxury American food and beverage with a dedicated Oyster and Schramsberg Sparkling Wine Bar located within the hotel’s third-floor atrium. Available Tuesday through Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the pop-up experience will feature locally harvested oysters, premium American caviar, and acclaimed Schramsberg sparkling wines in an elevated setting designed to showcase some of the country’s most iconic culinary traditions. The festivities kick off on Friday, June 26 at 4:00 p.m. with a special appearance by Hugh Davies, founder of California-based Schramsberg Vineyards, who will personally pour sparkling wine from an extraordinary nine-liter bottle created especially for the occasion in celebration of American winemaking and America’s 250th birthday.
Summit at Conrad Rooftop Programming
Perched above downtown with panoramic views of the city skyline, Summit at Conrad, the hotel’s rooftop destination, invites guests and locals for after-work golden hour and warm summer evenings with a new lineup of Americana-themed cocktails and a culinary menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. Signature dishes include bigeye tuna crispy rice with wasabi furikake and pickled jalapeño; Maryland Blue Crab rolls served on brioche with tarragon and waffle crisps; burrata and tomatoes with truffle-aged balsamic; and jumbo wings. The rooftop will also play host to sunset happy hours, live entertainment, and an exclusive Fourth of July party celebration for hotel guests. With Washington, D.C. preparing for one of the largest fireworks displays in U.S. history, Summit at Conrad promises one of the best vantage points in the city for this moment.
