A WILD RACE AGAINST TIME
Get ready for a wildy interactive adventure at CityCenterDC!
This summer, CityCenterDC welcomes A Wild Race Against Time, a monumental public art exhibition by world-renowned artists Gillie and Marc. Featuring large-scale bronze sculptures of endangered animals, the installation invites visitors to experience wildlife up close while raising awareness for global conservation efforts. Through their charity, Love the Last Wildlife, the artists aim to inspire action and support for protecting endangered species before it’s too late.

AN EXHIBITION YOU CAN STEP INTO
This is not a traditional sculpture exhibition. It is an interactive world unlike anything seen before.
Visitors will be able to:
- Sit inside a convertible next to a giant panda
- Ride alongside a Bengal tiger and Sumatran elephant
- Pose with a giraffe and lion racing on a scooter
- Stand beside a polar bear skiing at speed
- Join a Galápagos tortoise on roller skates
- Take photos with a chimpanzee and koala on a Vespa
- Walk among a gorilla, rhino, orangutan, zebra, whale, and more
Each sculpture is designed not just to be seen — but to be experienced.
You can climb on them. Sit in them. Ride with them.
Every artwork becomes a moment.
Every moment becomes a photograph.
Every photograph becomes a story.
