You’re Invited: The Tree Lighting Celebration
CityCenterDC’s season-starting tradition is upon us.
In DC, the official start to the holiday season begins with CityCenterDC’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting. Back for its eleventh year and being held on Saturday, November 30th, this unforgettable event is centered around our unmissable 75-foot tree that comes to life by countdown with thousands of twinkling lights.
WITH HEADLINER
JORDIN SPARKS
As always, this perennial tradition is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with plenty of festive entertainment and activities to partake in. Hosted by NBC4’s Eun Yang, guests will be treated to spectacular musical performances from headliner Jordin Sparks and DC-based American Pops Orchestra. Balloon artists, face painters and holiday treats will also be stationed at the event, making it a heart-warming experience for the whole family. Finally, snap some holiday card-worthy pics in front of our two resident 25-foot reindeer and under our Dream Closet installation that’ll sparkle in the light of Palmer Alley.

GIVING SPIRIT
And in the giving spirit of the season, we encourage guests of our tree lighting ceremony to make a donation to Children’s National Hospital. Your generosity goes towards funding incredible, compassionate care and pediatric research in the hope of treating and healing injured children. Now through December 3rd, CityCenterDC has committed to doubling the impact of the community’s philanthropic efforts, matching all gifts up to $25,000. Donate today by visiting this link.
