The 75-foot tree will illuminate the shopping and dining destination with 155,000 twinkling lights throughout the holiday season.

CityCenterDC’s beloved holiday tree lighting celebration returns for the ninth year on Saturday, Nov. 26th. The festive tradition will take place in The Park at CityCenter, welcoming Washingtonians and visitors alike to celebrate the start of the holiday season.
From Thanksgiving weekend through Christmas, CityCenterDC will be awash in dazzling decor, including a larger-than-life Tiffany & Co. ornament photo moment, and fun activities and surprises to delight visitors of all ages. The tree lighting celebration kicks off the holiday season in the Washington, DC area with a spectacular 75-foot tree decked with over 155,000 lights and ornaments. The seven-piece dance band, Elan Artist’s The Revels, returns for a second year to perform contemporary and classic renditions of holiday favorites throughout the ceremony.

CityCenterDC’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration welcomes you to join in on the festivities with face painting and balloon art by Festive Effects, sweet and savory treats from CityCenterDC restaurants, and an exciting, interactive, photo experience for the crowd! Strike a pose and snap your photos on I Street where the Instagram-famous orange carpet will line the street.
